I am a 2022 graduate of the Florida Atlantic University Phylis and Harvey Sandler School of Social Work Master of Social Work Program and was awarded as the 2022 National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Palm Beach Student Social Worker of the Year.
I completed my clinical internship at Compass Community Center, the LGBTQ+ community center of Palm Beach County. At Compass I worked with youth, adolescents, and adults in individual and groups settings.
Prior to becoming a social worker, I worked as a veterinary assistant and technician in surgical and emergency departments, as well as in canine rehabilitation/physical therapy.
In 2021 I was sponsored by the OutFoundation as an OUTAthlete in the sport of CrossFit. When I'm not working I love spending time at the gym and competing in CrossFit. I also play in the South Florida Flag Football League. In 2022 I was honored to accept the Compete Sports Diversity Molly Lenore Inspirational Athlete Award.
I currently serve as a board member for the South Florida Trans Medical Consortium and assist in the production of the South Florida Trans Medical Conference.
